I don't know your name yet.
I don't know what you look like.
I don't know what makes you laugh.
I don't know how you like your steak.
I don't know if you prefer wine or whiskey.
I don't know what teams you root for, though I SURELY hope that they are the Chargers, Lakers, and Padres.
I don't know what kind of dog you prefer, though I do hope that they aren't of the small persuasion.
I don't know where you grew up.
I don't know what kind of music you prefer.
I don't know what you fear.
I don't know the places you have only dreamed of visiting.
I don't know about the wounds that have turned to scars in your life.
I don't know about your friends and what you guys like to do together.
I don't know if you like Karaoke, though I hope you can at least enjoy it every now and again.
I don't know anything about you.
I do know that I can't wait to get to know all of those things and so much more.
I do know some things though...
I do know that I am praying for you.
I am praying that your heart is full right now, as is.
I am praying that you are surrounding yourself with good people... you are only as good as the company you keep.
I am praying that you are enjoying this season of life when it is just you. Just you and Jesus.
I am praying that you are traveling and learning and growing.
I don't know you but I miss you.

My BFF and I FINALLY live in the same city again!
We haven't lived in the same city since high school... Way too long!
Now she is back, with her husband and dogs too, and I couldn't be happier!
What better way to welcome her home than with tickets to see Zac Brown Band (thanks to Sandra)?!
Since then we have had many wine-filled nights with Spanish lessons for Howie, The Bachelorette, laughing, and just enjoying living life in the same city.
Kimber and SL- I am so glad you are calling San Diego home again! Thankful for the friend I have in you two. Love you both so much.

I was going to make some punny statement about how I am Blown Away by how good Blown Away is but I decided against it. Though, I just did it. Anyway...
If you haven't downloaded (or purchased in CD form for you old school peeps) Carrie Underwood's new record, BLOWN AWAY, you are missing out. Stop reading, click this link, and download it. Seriously, it is so good!
The whole record is good.
That being said, DON'T JUST BUY THE SINGLES and DON'T PUT IT ON SHUFFLE! I get what Garth Brooks means when he has said that artists put thought and time into the way an album flows. This record needs to be listened to IN ORDER!
I will say, I have been playing a few songs over and over a few times before allowing the record to play on as intended. One of these songs is Nobody Ever Told You. I absolutely love it! Maybe because I feel like it is a song that the Lord is singing over me in this season of life. The lyrics are so simple and so powerful. For me... I need to know what nobody every told me...
