Stuck in a Rut

I know that I have A LOT to post about, but I can't shake where my heart is right now.

When I was catching up with a friend today, I was trying to verbalize all that is going on in my head and heart.

To sum it up, this is how I feel....

I feel like I am dreaming BIG but stuck in REALITY.

BAHAMAS

Yup.
You read that right.
I went to the FREAKING Bahamas.
Let me tell you... GO!
It is so beautiful there.
The water is unlike anything I have ever seen before.
It is UNREAL.
GO.

My friend Chelsea and I have become quite the travel partners.

We have done Spring Break in Colorado, road tripping our way back to San Diego. That trip left Chelsea with a broken wrist and me with an e-mail letting me know that I didn't have a job to come home to, that I received the morning of my birthday. Hey, it isn't a good trip without some good stories right?! :)

We also flew to Seattle for a week, stayed with the family Maxin, and just explored a city that I love dearly and once called home. No one broke anything, and neither one of us lost our job... so that was good.

This year, we wanted something a little bit more exotic and something a little bit more grown-up. After all, we are college graduates. After talking through all of our different options, we decided on The Bahamas. We booked our flights in and out of Orlando and would cruise in and out of Port Canaveral.

The trip was unreal.

We slept, read books, ate good food, drank yummy drinks, got brown, and even went to DISNEYWORLD on our last day in Florida. It was amazing. It really was an amazing time.

I am thankful for this time in my life when I get to do whatever I want. I don't have to consider anyone's feelings when deciding on a job, a place to live, or a trip. I am thankful for friends like Chelsea who are easy to travel with, who just go with the flow and are just simple. I am thankful for the opportunity to travel.
