No, Thank-YOU November

Posted on 09:49 by Unknown
I absolutely LOVE the fall.

I always miss Seattle and Colorado this time of year. I miss the feeling of crisp air on your skin, watching the leaves change colors and fall to the ground, and getting to wear scarves and cute coats. I love me some San Diego, but I also love me some Fall. Unfortunately, we don't really get to experience "seasons" in San Diego.

Every year, I go to Thanksgiving at my Grandma and Grandpa Brown's house. Grandpa passed away in June, so this is the first Thanksgiving without Grandpa. It will be tough to be there without him, but life goes on. It must go on. Before we eat, we all gather in the living room where the tables are set up, all 40 or so of us, we circle up and hold hands. Everyone, yes EVERYONE, has to say what they are thankful for. Some of the things make us laugh and some of the things make us cry.

Thinking of what to say is always a process for me. I dont' want to say something trivial and I don't want to say something that I just thought of on a whim. I want to say something that I truly am Thankful for.

So, with all of this thinking, I saw a blog series waiting to happen. So, everyday in Novemeber, until Thanksgiving, I am going to post a blog about things that I am thankful for. 25 blogs in 25 days. Some blogs will be long, and some will be short. Either way, they will be full of heart and deep joy.

Can't wait to share number 1 with you all a little later today. :)
