I am thankful for daylight savings time.
I know, I know. So many people hate it. I get it. I would too if I had to work until 5 or 6 and had to drive home in the dark. Hear me out...
1. Living in San Diego, we don't get to experience the seasons changing. To me, I equate Daylight Savings Time with it being Fall.
2. I have to wake up around 6, sometimes earlier, to be at work by 7:30. Waking up that early is ROUGH when you are getting ready in the dark.
3. I get off of work at 2:30, so I still have 2.5 hours of sunlight to enjoy.
4. I am like a toddler, I enjoy an 8:30 bedtime. With it getting darker earlier, it is easy for me to enjoy my toddler bedtime without feeling like I am missing out on so much.
5. When I fly home from Arizona it is as if an hour never happened. Consider it time travel. :)
I know that you may not agree with me, but I love it.
By the time Spring comes around, I am ready for it to feel like Spring and Summer, again the only thing that makes it real is the time change. :)
