Fourteen

I am thankful for the past year.

The past 12 months have been full of tragedy, hope, love, loss, excitement, sadness, joy, peace, and so much more. I wouldn't wish it upon anyone, but I also wouldn't trade it for the world.

In the midst of the tragedy, loss, loneliness, and sadness, I have experienced hope in ways that I have never experienced before. As my friend Meg has said, "I don't know who's life I am living, but I hope they don't ask for it back!"

I have seen more concerts in a year than most see in a lifetime. I have attended and participated in events that I only dreamed of before this year. I have gone to places that I saw in magazines and wished and hope that I would get to go.

2010 was an incredible year.

I am thankful for the past 12 months.
