I am totally guilty of wasting water sometimes.
Specifically, when I read shampoo bottles in the shower.
One of the many, and I will admit most ridiculous, reasons that I LOVE taking a trip to Jen's house in AZ is all of the choices of shower stuff. SO FUN!
Today, I chose to use, and read, Philosophy bottles.
One, in particular, caught my eye.
Falling in Love.

Here is what it says...
philosophy: falling in love doesn't begin with falling in love with others. it begins with falling in love with ourselves. loving ourselves in healthy and as God intended. learn to deeply and fully cherish your heart, your soul, and your body and only then will you understand what it is to truly love another.
Isn't that beautiful?
As well as being beautiful, it is also incredibly hard to do at times. It is so easy for me to love others, to serve others, to pursue my friendships... at times, it isn't so easy for me to love myself.
I think if we were being honest, we would all say that it is hard to love ourselves, especially when we are not necessarily feeling love from the outside.
So, it is a give and take.
A two-way street if you will.
Love yourself. Love others. Love yourself. Love others.
I will add to that...
Love God. Love others. Love yourself. Love God. Love others. Love yourself.
If we work together in this, there will be just love.
I know this is ideal and touchy feely and somewhat of a romanticized point of view, but I am ok with that.
Would you join me on this journey?
