Yup, she did.
You know me, I love to travel.
I especially love to travel when it is last minute and super spontaneous and has anything to do with music.
Back in March, Jon and I had a weekend of all of these things.
Kira has a job that I only dream of. Kira has been kind enough to kind of take me under her wing, give me some much needed exposure to what the industry is really like and has answered more questions than I ever thought I would even have. This is a whole other post coming very soon though.
Back to the story...
In March, Jay-Z was playing at The Pearl at the Palms in Las Vegas. Jay-Z is the only rapper that I have ever wanted to see live. He is brilliant. Seriously, he is brilliant.
Well, Jay-Z tickets for a show at a venue that seats 2,400, go FAST and the ones that go FAST go EXPENSIVELY. Needless to say, I probably NEVER would have seen Jay at The Pearl. That is, if it weren't for Kira.
Thursday, Jon and I decided to make the trek on Saturday to Vegas.
Saturday morning, we woke up early, to make our way to Vegas. Making the usual stop at In n Out in Barstow. We made it to Vegas with plenty of time to go to Target, rest, and get ready for a freaking amazing show.
Jay-Z is BRILLIANT. So damn ridiculous live.
If you EVER get the chance to see him, ESPECIALLY in a small venue, SPEND THE MONEY. It is BEYOND worth it. He is freaking amazing.
THANK YOU KIRA, for an amazing, spontaneous, night in Las Vegas with Hova. :)
(Not sure why the pictures are so small... oh well. You get the idea...)
