I am the most loved lady in the world.
I am beyond blessed by my friends.
I was more excited about turning 25 than I have been about any other birthday that I can remember. 16 was cool, I got to drive the "Love Van" as my precious Clydey-Poo-Poo calls it. 18 was great, it meant graduation and heading on to Seattle for college. 21 was anti-climactic as I couldn't drink because of school and the whole wanting to be an RA situation. 25 was my golden ticket.
The past few years have had their ups and downs, but I stand on this side more confident, more comfortable in my own skin, and more secure in who I am. I have my friends and my God to thank for that. I have the best friends in the world. I do. Plain and simple.
When I turned 25, I was surrounded by some of my favorite people.
Sweet Katelynn flew in from Arizona to help me celebrate. We stayed at Humphrey's and had the most relaxing of weekends. Lisa and Bryan were here from Indiana and made the trek straight from the airport to the family bar for my party. Braden and Emily drove all around San Diego county to make it down to the family bar for some karaoke. Fallon and Mingo, Haley and Brian, Kelli and Sam, Kerri and Ryan, Brian and Stacey, Ryan and Michele, Amanda and Tyler, Julie and Taylor, Jon, Jeanine, Amy, Andrea and Amy, Destiny, and my Mo... were all there. I am not kidding when I say that I am well loved.
On Tuesday, Debbie, Anna, Katelynn, and I made our way to THE ELLEN SHOW for the St. Patrick's Day episode. Unfortunately, all we got were 2 boxes of triscuits and a mediocre cd and dvd; no trip to Ireland this time. THOUGH, they played the same game, but I was WAY more fun than the duds that played and won this time around.
All in all, 25 was welcomed with open arms and has treated me VERY well. :)
