Today starts 24 days of things that I am thankful for. I love these blogs and just the time that I take to really think about the things that I am thankful for at this moment in life... I really should do this more often than just in November. In fact, maybe I will do Thankful Thursdays regularly?! (Note to self... set a reminder in the calendar to do that!) :)
Day 1
I am thankful for this season of thankfulness. I love that we are forced to slow it down a bit and think about the things that bring joy and peace to our lives. I am thankful that Honest Abe (President Lincoln) declared Thanksgiving a holiday that should be celebrated every year in November (and let us note that he did this in the midst of the Civil War).
