November 3

Today, I am thankful for 30% off coupons!

I bought a dress for Amanda and Tyler's wedding that I love but it is just a little too short for me. It isn't short, but it is short for ME. Alas, I was back on the hunt for a dress for their wedding on SATURDAY. I have my "go-to" dress that I wear to weddings but it happens to be the EXACT same color of the Bridesmaids dresses. Not just the same color group... it would look like I was a disgruntled girl who wanted to be a Bridesmaid but didn't make the cut. So, wearing that dress wasn't an option.

I have been eyeing a dress at Old Navy for a couple of weeks now, but the tag read $39.94. If you know me at all, you know that I RARELY EVER buy clothes at full price. Seeing as how I do most of my clothes shopping at Old Navy and Target, I just wait a week or two for it to hit the clearance rack. :)

I got an e-mail letting me know about the 30% friends and family deal that is currently going on, so I decided to go try on the dress, knowing that if I loved it I would get 30% off.

Well, I tried it on, and I LOVED IT!! I took my freighbor with me and we both decided that it fit perfectly, and was just a REALLY GOOD dress for me. I was in love. At that moment, $27.98 for a dress was totally worth it.

BUT

THE DRESS WAS ON SALE!!! The dress was on sale for $24.94! I was in business mode and just grabbed the dress without looking at the sale sign.

So.... The dress was $17.46!!!

So, today, I am thankful for 30% off coupons!!!
